Ooredoo Myanmar and HOG Sign MoU to Support the Development of E-sports

Ooredoo Myanmar and HOG, the first Esports Center in Myanmar announced their partnership though signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to jointly develop E-sports among the youth in Myanmar to reach to international level.

HOG is the first international LANGaming Center in Myanmar opening in 2017 to promote Myanmar E-sports Industry though consecutive activities such as tournament, festivals and contests. It is one of E-sports Arena with space and facilities able to hold International E-sports tournament. Through the partnership with HOG, Ooredoo provides customized bandwidth performance and speed dedicated fiber internet access with special rate to HOG because Ooredoo wants the gamers to enjoy the best customer experience though its network. In addition, Ooredoo sets up a sales booth at HOG E-sports Center to support with products sales and customer support. The first E-sports trainings and competitions were held at Stanford University in the USA around 1972 by using ICT and computers. HOG E-sports Center in Yangon is opened with the approval from Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunication, Ministry of Health and Sports and Ministry of Home Affairs.
