Leading trade fair organizer Messe Frankfurt held a press conference and seminar about “The Ambiente 2017: the show” a leading international consumer goods trade fair, which is held annually in Frankfurt am Main, Germany on November 9.
Thet Su Hlaing, official Messe Frankfurt Myanmar representative, gave the welcome remarks at the conference and Stephan Kurzawski went into detail about “The Ambiente 2017”. In addition, there was a Q & A section with the speakers at the end.
The Ambiente Show is a trade show held annually in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. 4,387 exhibitors from 96 countries exhibited their products and 137,000 visitors from 143 countries came to the show last year. However, there was only one exhibitor from Myanmar last year.
Director of Bella Interior, Stellabeth Swezin Le, the first-ever Myanmar exhibitor in Messe Frankfurt’s 2015 trade fair, said that the risk was higher than exhibitions in Singapore, Japan, China and Korea – and double the cost. “But”, she says, “It was worth it in terms of business gained.” She also added that she would be exhibiting again in 2017 show.
Thet Su Hlaing, a Messe Frankfurt Myanmar representative, said that producers need to be willing to take a gamble in order to reap the benefits. “You can gain profit only when you invest something. Some businesses need to take risks,” she says. “I think it is worth taking a risk if the risk can be calculated.”
The Ambienete 2017: the show will be held in Frankfurt am Main, Germany from 10th to 14th February.
