April 2 – Harry’s Bar (Singapore-based bar and dinning chain) opened its first outlet at Myanmar Plaza. At the Harry’s Myanmar opening event, invited guests, media tasted Harry’s modern European menu, featuring a selection of signature dishes from Harry’s Singapore.
Harry’s story began with a flagship outlet set against the scenic Boat Quay in 1992. Harry’s has also opened branches in India. Harry’s is offering a wide range of beverages and food for locals, tourists and expats. Harry’s is the Novateur Award Winner of the year 2015 at the inaugural Asia Enterprise BRAND Awards 2015.
Apex Food & Beverage, a subsidiary of Apex Hospitality, brought Harry’s Bar and Dinning to Myanmar as a franchise from Harry’s International. Apex Food & Beverage also opened Tony Roma’s, American Franchise restaurant, in January 2015.
