Background of Telenor Karaoke Champion Programme
Telenor launched its first nationwide karaoke champion competition on March 14, 2016, offering the winner a prize of MMK 20 million, and a chance to produce an album released by Telenor through its My Tune music portal.
In search of the champion, two Telenor-branded music trucks rove around some of 28 places in 18 different cities across 13 regions and states, and Nay Pyi Taw. At the same time, recording booths are also set up in selected Telenor-branded shops to give everyone a chance to join the search.
