April 21 – CLEAR, Unilever’s anti-dandruff shampoo brand joined Thingyan, Myanmar’s New Year celebration by bringing giant shower head booths in both Yangon and Mandalay. Celebrities and thousands of people participated in this Clear summer activation and experienced the Clear Ice Cool Menthol shampoo and Clear Men shampoo and got free hair wash at the booths during the holiday. A Clear LED Ice Cool van also drove around Yangon and Mandalay from 5th of April to 11th April inviting people to visit the Clear Thingyan booths to receive Clear sachets, product flyers and to enjoy entertainment with dance performances.
Besides free shampooing at the booths, Clear also provided visitors of the shower heads with free samples of their formulated shampoos. Moreover, Clear took photos of Thingyan celebrations at clear booth and other gifts to help them remember and cherish Thingyan 2016 forever. As part of the celebration, celebrities joined the crowd to take part in the Clear Shower head activities in both Yangon and Mandalay.
