Six fires broke out in six townships in Yangon Region on February 8, all within one day. The fires occurred at Samsung Showroom on Theinbyu Road, Mingala Taungnyunt, a factory on Bayintnaung Road, 144th Quarter, Dagon Myothit (South), a building between 35 and 36 streets, Merchant Road, Kyauktada, Bala Kyaw Swar passenger ship near Dala Shipyard, Dala, near Hnin Si Street, Gandama Quarter, Ahlon, and finally at Tharaphi Road, 14 Ward, South Okkalapa. Township fire brigades and rescue teams went to six places and helped put out fires within a short period.
