The Award Gala Night held on October 4 at Novotel Yangon Max marks the completion of the first-ever Myanmar National Real Estate Awards, a 5 month long campaign that recognizes and celebrates the outstanding achievements of the best property developers in Myanmar, organized by ShweProperty.com, Myanmar’s #1 Real Estate Portal. The prestigious ceremony was attended by over 450+ guests, including several C-Level executives and key opinion leaders from the industry, keynote speaker Prof. Dr. Aung Tun Thet, Former Economic Advisor, and distinguished officials from the Yangon City Development Committee and New Yangon Development Company.
The first edition of the Myanmar National Real Estate Awards saw over 120 applications, and 46 Winners were revealed across the 20 Award Categories during the Gala Night.

The event was verified by Deloitte Myanmar, backed by a star-studded International and Local Judging panel with expertise in all aspects of real estate development. The panel consisted of Honorary Judge – Prof. Dr Aung Tun Htet (former economic advisor to the president of Myanmar), Head Judge – Richard Emerson (MD of Emerson Real Estate) and 8 more experienced judges who presented the awards to the winners during the Gala Night.

The top winners for the evening include: Shwe Taung Real Estate Co., Ltd., taking home 7 awards including the Best Developer of the Year Award, and the Best Environmental Sustainability Award; and Marga Landmark Development Co., Ltd, who collected the Best Residential Developer of the Year Award.
The 2019 Industry Influencer of the Year Award, one of the most coveted Best of the Best awards was presented to U Shein Win, President and Chairman of the Myanmar Construction Entrepreneurs Federation (MCEF).
