Sule Shangri-La, Yangon unveiled “Iconic Inspirations”, a wedding and lifestyle fair, celebrated in the hotel’s Myanmar Ballroom on May 26 and 27. Elevating this year’s celebration is the participation of nine ASEAN fashion designers representing the ASEAN Fashion Designers Showcase (AFDS). A two-day celebration of love, day 1 (May 26) of “Iconic Inspirations” paid homage to the best of Myanmar. “Iconic Inspirations” marries modern and traditional Burmese weddings, captured in the wedding and evening-gown creations of featured local designers.
Day 2 (May 27) highlighted the best of ASEAN, with members of the ASEAN Fashion Designers Showcase bringing to Yangon their wedding and evening couture in two fashion shows. Throughout the two-day event, the hotel showcase its distinct wedding experiences in the heart of the city. The hotel’s events and wedding planning experts were on hand to meet couples to present signature wedding packages, exclusive honeymoon offers, signature wedding cakes, as well as the hotel’s extensive high-tea menu selection for receptions.
