Singapore’s Parkway Cancer held the Cancer Awareness Open House on August 17 and 18 at Junction City Promotion Area, sharing the reliable information about cancer, cancer prevention and treatment.
The intention was to get more awareness about cancer burden in Myanmar, to seek the right information and make the right choice to get the right treatment at the right time to save cancer burden.Cancer is the trendiest disease in Myanmar and threatens the community because of unhealthy foods and lifestyles. So, Parkway Cancer Center shared the reliable information related to cancer, cancer prevention, diets and lifestyles and treatment in so that people won’t get in the wrong direction of information and treatment.
Moreover, Parkway Cancer Center, Singapore has two satellite clinics in Yangon that provide that most updated cancer treatment from the world to Myanmar, making it cost effective to our patients. According to the World Health Organization, more than 60,000 new cancer cases are estimated to occur each year in Myanmar.
