For Her Myanmar, Myanmar’s first and leading lifestyle destination to empower young women, had raised a further six-figure investment from an international investor. The funding allows the company to strengthen its movement to give young women a voice and to continue to build a community of strong, educated and independent women across Myanmar.
“We are thankful for the support from our investors who believe in our movement to empower young women in Myanmar through education, strong content and engagement. This investment will ensure we can continue to develop our online platform and impact the For Her Myanmar community in a positive way”, said Nilar Myint, Co-founder of For Her Myanmar.
“Our next step is to further develop our platform to provide a more tailored service through our club membership program and content to benefit women via our website, Facebook pages, and our upcoming mobile application”, added Khin Hnit Oo, Co-Founder of For Her Myanmar.
In addition, For Her Myanmar, in collaboration with Canal Plus, ran a weekly hour-long talk show from January to June this year – Eait Hti Ya Diary – every Saturday on the local channel MaeMadi. Eai Hti Ya Diary, which featured a blogger from For Her Magazine and two brand ambassadors, tackled various topics that matter to young women in Myanmar and was wellreceived by the public. The outreach and engagement have made For Her Myanmar a voice for the new generation of young, strong and open-minded Myanmar women.
