Columbus Travel introduced a new way to purchase air ticket in co- operation with CB Bank’s mobile
banking on 24th February. E-tickets can be bought via mobile banking system of CB Bank. The customer can also book a ticket at Columbus Travel shops and then file the cash amount, purchaser name and booking reference at CB Bank or CB Bank’s Mobile
Banking Application. There is no need to print out the E-ticket as it is sent to travel- er’s mobile phone via SMS, Viber or Face- book messenger. Purchasing air tickets via mobile banking has been available since the first week of February in Yangon where the demand is the highest and it is underway to be accessible in other local cities in coming six months.
