China Enterprises Chamber of Commerce Set up in Myanmar

China Enterprises Chamber of Commerce (CECCM) was launched in Yangon on September 29.

Union Minister for Commerce, called for cooperation to improve bilateral friendship between Myanmar and China in order to reach the level of comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership between the two countries. Bilateral trade between the two countries reach $11.8 billion in last fiscal year 2017-2018.

The CECCM pledged to serve as a bridge between business communities of the two countries with an aim to promote further bilateral trade cooperation between the two countries, said Liu Ying, Chairman of CECCM. The CECCM which was registered in November 2017, now has over 260 members from various sectors including garment, real estate, construction, telecommunication, agriculture, power, tourism and services.
