Emirates Launches New Service to Myanmar

Emirates will inaugurate its entry into Myanmar with a direct flight route from Dubai to Yangon on 3 August. The Boeing 777-300ER aircraft will offer 8 seats in First Class, 42 seats in Business Class and 310 seats in Economy Class.

Myanmar to Host Four Countries-One Destination Conference

Under Jointly organized by the Central Bank of Myanmar and The Ministry of Hotel and Tourism as well as with the support of hold Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV), Hoang Anh Gia Lai (HAGL) cooperation,

Four Countries – One Destination Conference will be held at the Melia Hotel in the HAGL Complex. The conference aims to promote cooperation within the tourism sectors of Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, and Vietnam (CLMV). Objective outcomes of the conference include increasing foreign investment in the region and boosting ecotourism between the countries.

It is 4 days event beginning on 29 July.

Myanmar Hospitality and Tourism Conference

2016 Myanmar Tourism Federation organized the Myanmar Hospitality and Tourism Conference 2016 on August 2 at the Ballroom of Park Royal Hotel. The goal of the conference was to discuss investment opportunities in the tourism and hospitality sector. Union Minister of the Ministry of Hotels and Tourism, He U Ohn Maung, Local and regional industry leaders were in attendance.

Telenor Helps Flood Stricken Villages in Rakhine

Telenor funded 86.4 million Kyats to flood stricken 62 villages in Minbya, Kyauktaw and Mrauk-U townships in Rakhine. Telenor’s relief assistance has contributed to nearly 27,000 flood affected people.
