Myanmar Bulid, Light, Wood and Machtool (4-in-1 show)
May 12 – Myanmar International Wood Processing Exhibition (MYANMARWOOD), cooperation with Myanmar International Building material, Hardware and Tool Exhibition (MYANMARBUILD), Myanmar International Lighting Exhibition ( MYANMARLIGHT) and Myanmar International Machine Tool and Automation Exhibition (MYANMARMACHTOOL) staged a comeback on May 12-15 at Tatmadaw Exhibition. The 4-day event was jointly organized by Yorkers Trade & Marketing Service Co and China Economic News Service. Hosted over 120 exhibitors from 15 countries and displayed their latest technologies and product in line with the newest market trends.
Titan Pest Opens Office in Yangon
May 25 – Titan Pest Management announced the official opening of its office in Yangon, Myanmar. Deloitte Southeast Asia Expansion to Yangon
May 18 – Deloitte Southeast Asia expands its Myanmar practice to establish 11th of its regional footprint. The new practice joins 10 other local practices-Brunei, Guam, Indonesia, Cambodia and so on. The aim is to deliver high quality services to companies operating in or out of the country, drawing in on the regional and global expertise within the Deloitte network. Lenovo Brings to TheaterMax technology May 10 – Lenovo VIBE Series and Motorola X Model Smartphones was launched at Novotel Hotel. Celebrities, invited guests and media attended the event. Lenovo and Motorola introduced TheaterMax technology through which customers can enjoy Virtual Reality (VR). World first smartphones which bring TheaterMax technology such as VIBE X3, VIBE K4 and Motorola X Force, Moto X Style, Moto X Play, Moto G, Moto 360 Smart Watch was introduced on that day.
“The Journey of Love” Wedding Fair
May 27 – Co-hosts Sule Shangri-La Hotel and iD creative solutions, a Yangon-based branding & events agency, launched a spectacular wedding showcase for future brides and grooms. The 2016 Wedding Fair entitled “The Journey of Love / Chit Kha Yee Lann” will take place in the Ballroom Lobby and Myanmar Ballroom on Sunday, June 5, with free entry to all. Throughout the day of the wedding fair, there will be lots of activities in which the public can also participate such as a celebrity makeover demonstration (makeup and hair).
