Telenor Myanmar reinvents its data roaming plan as ‘ASIA 9’ was introduced to both of its prepaid and star post-paid customers who are travelling or working in nine Asian countries.
With this new plan, all Telenor prepaid and star post-paid subscribers in Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, China, Singapore, Cambodia, Bangladesh, Pakistan and Indonesia can now stay connected on internet with their friends, families and business partners with the most affordable rate of nine Kyats per MB (exclusive of Tax), which is the same as local rate with the subscriptions fees of 900 Kyats per week. The subscribers who don’t want to subscribe the pack can still enjoy the promo PAYGO rate of 14 Kyats per MB (exclusive of tax). The promotion plan starts from September 7 until further notice.
The standard data rates in those nine Asia countries normally start at 500 Kyats per MB depending on the destinations and during this promotion period, Telenor customers will be able to save up to 99.94%. Telenor customers can subscribe the ‘ASIA 9’ roaming pack with the validity of seven days by sending ‘A9’ to 500 or via MyTelenor app. Moreover, the users can also subscribe the pack by dialling *979*2*5*2# (for prepaid customers) and *999*1*9# (for star Post-paid customers).
