State Counsellor Aung San Suu Kyi met with Chinese delegation led by International Relations Minister of People’s Communist Party of China Song Tao at her house in Nay Pyi Taw on April 24.
Union Minister for the Office of the State Counsellor Kyaw Tint Swe, Union Minister for Electricity and Energy Win Khaing, Union Minister for International Cooperation Kyaw Tin and other government officials participated in the meeting between the State Counsellor and the delegation. Prior to the meeting with Aung San Suu Kyi, the Chinese delegation hold a discussion with Myanmar officials led by Union Minister Kyaw Tint Swe on the same day at the Ministry of the Offce of the State Counsellor in Nay Pyi Taw. Meeting attendees from the government’s side together with the union minister were Director General of the Department of International Organisations and Economy Kyaw Moe Tun, Director General of the Department of Diplomatic Affairs Thant Sin, Director General of the Country’s Affairs Soe Han and Director General of the Ministry of the Offce of the State Counsellor Win Kyaw Aung.
Along with International Relations Minister of People’s Communist Party of China Song Tao, Chinese Ambassador to Myanmar Hong Lian, Director General of the Ministry of International Relations of China Yuan Zhibing and other offcials participated in the meetings.
The delegation arrived in Maynmar on April 24 on the invitation of Union Minister Kyaw Tint Swe.
