Sedona Hotel Yangon welcomed Singapore Prime Minister Mr. Lee Hsien Loong recently during his three-day trip to Myanmar to commemorate 50 years of diplomatic ties between the two countries. While staying at the hotel, Mr. Lee Hsien Loong enjoyed dishes from Sedona Hotel Yangon’s culinary team at the on-property Chinese restaurant, Du Fu, and met Singaporeans working in Yangon at a reception in the property’s Grand Ballroom. He also launched the Singapore-Myanmar Vocational Training Institute (SMVTI) in downtown Yangon. Sedona Hotel Yangon is committed towards the betterment of Yangon’s workforce, and has collaborated with Singapore Myanmar Vocational Training Institute (SMVTI) to provide students with quality hospitality training by adopting two training facilities. The training labs are fully equipped with learning tools to simulate live hotel environments.
