Samsung has been recognized as “Asia’s Most Favorite Brand” and ranked no.1 among Asia’s top brands. It was announced in the annual regional list “Asia’s Top 1000 Brands” which has been reported by Campaign Asia-Pacific in partnership with Nielsen.
Furthermore, on May 23, Forbes released its 2018 List of the World’s Most Valuable Brands and Samsung also ranked high. Out of the 100 Global companies listed, Samsung was ranked No.7 among the top 10, which included some of the world’s biggest tech companies such as Google, Microsoft and Facebook.
According to Campaign Asia, the past 12 months have seen Samsung dial up the social awareness campaigns and release a string of hot new products but it’s the brand’s size and traditional marketing methods that keep it at the top. Samsung has emerged as the top brand in Asia for 7 years in a row in 2018. In addition to announcing the results, Campaign Asia also mentioned that during the last year, Samsung released the Galaxy Note 8 and other high profile releases such as QLED TVs, the Gear Sport smartwatch and the Galaxy S9 and S9+ phones; all which led to Samsung record profits and exceed the future predictions.
