KBZ plans to protect customers from online attacks under RSA

Kanbawza Bank Limited, a leading Myanmar financial institution, has selected RSA, the Security Division of a NYSE-listed EMC, to help protect its customers from online phishing and cybercrime attacks, according to a press release by the RSA.

It says the combination of RSA Adaptive Authentication product and RSA SecurlD® two factor authentication, allows KBZ Bank to provide comprehensive yet flexible security to every customer from complex enterprises to a single user.

“Online fraud is becoming increasingly more organized, so- phisticated, and prevalent, but it is encouraging to see lead- ers like KBZ Bank taking proactive action to ensure they can address today’s threats, and collaborate to fight tomorrow’s”, said Vincent Goh, Vice President Asia Pacific & Japan, RSA, The Security Division of EMC

“The need to treat our customers’ information with the ut- most care and to keep a vigilant eye on the threat landscape meant RSA was the ideal partner for the task”, says KBZ Banks’ Chief Information Officer Utpal Bora.

To date, RSA FraudAction service has already been imple- mented by approximately 450 major companies around the world.
