A state-of-the-art music event “WE ARE CONNECTED”, produced by ALDA Events, locally promoted by Zeekwat Collective and brought to Myanmar by Heineken premium beer was held on November 23 at the brand new One Entertainment Park, in Yangon. Marketing director of Heineken, Leen De Schutter stated, “We are very excited about this partnership. Our ambition is to surprise Myanmar consumers with world-class experiences. We will also use this opportunity to promote responsible consumption, which is one of our top priorities. During the event, we will have Heineken refreshment teams roaming the crowd with free water, and responsibility messages will be displayed throughout the event area, to ensure everyone enjoys Heineken responsibly.”
Grammy-nominated Dutchman DJ Armin van Buuren played a two-hour closing set at the end of the exciting 8 hours lineup starting at 4pm. Joining him were Armin Only artists Mr Probz, Angel Taylor and BullySongs. The impressive lineup of WE ARE CONNECTED included Bassjackers, Firebeatz, MaRLo, and supporting acts, Husman, Deuce and the only Myanmar DJ of the event, The Kendrick. The event included state-of-the-art visuals and an experiential stage show with a variance of special effects, which were new to Myanmar.
