Eatfinity recently opened at Bo Gyoke Aung San Road in Yangon’s Pazundaung Township last month. The name fittingly means “never ending eating” and after trying their Thai seafood menu, you will find it hard to stop! The decor is, like most new restaurants in Yangon, ‘industrial chic’ with faux exposed brick and Edison lightbulbs – your must-have for a hipster hangout. If drinking out of a lightbulb does not inspire you to live authentically, nothing else will.
The food, however, is top notch authentic Thai food. First, we ordered the “Seafood Giant Noodle.” It was very spicy and the sour tom-yam noodle included seafood such as prawn, lobster, crab, squid, clams. It was neither greasy nor oily.
Another dish we ordered was the fried chicken with honey lemon sauce. It was really delicious and crisp. The sauce is unique because it is mixed of honey and lemon. It tasted clean.
The taste of Grilled Pork Neck is moist as well as tender, and it almost melts in your mouth. Last but not least, the Thai papaya salad with salted eggs tasted sweet, sour, and spicy. The most popular dessert is the chocolate lava cake with ice cream. This includes chocolate cake, one scoop of ice cream as well as slices of banana. It is sure to satisfy.
There are several kind of drinks available including freshly prepared fruit juices and Italian sodas. The Thai milk tea are really worth-recommending and available in light bulb-shaped glasses or tanks. It is available in three flavors- pink milk tea, green milk tea and Thai Milk tea. All things considered, it is an excellent place to try out. Foods are really tasty, delicious and clean. The quality of food is excellent and contains no MSG. Price is reasonable. Apart from the “giant” dishes, most dishes only cost around 5,000 Kyats. For drinks, even for tank, it does not cost over 10,000 Kyats. The shop is opened from 11am to 11pm. It is great place to chill out with friends and family as well as a good spot to celebrate any birthday.
It is a must try place for whoever craving for Thailand authentic food.
