Auto Expo Myanmar and Power Expo 2016, jointly organized by Taipei World Trade Center (TWTC) and Yorkers Trade & Marketing Service, was held from September 29 to October 2 at Tatmataw Hall. Dr Myo Thet, Vice-Chairman of the Union of Myanmar Federation of Chambers of Commerce & Industry (UMFCCI) delivered the opening speech. Walter Yeh, Executive Vice President of Taipei World Trade Center (TWTC) gave the welcome remarks. It was attended by Secretary General of Myanmar Industries Association (MIA), President of Myanmar Automobile Manufacturers and Distributors Association (MAMDA), Managing Director of Yorkers Trade & Marketing Service. 120 exhibitors from 10 participating countries including Japan, Korea, and Taiwan participated in the event. Auto Expo Myanmar and Power Expo showcased a full section of auto parts, household electric goods, automobile accessories and variety of electronic goods and devices.
Micheal J.C. Yeh, Director of Taiwan Trade Center, Yangon Branch said “during the exhibition, we had prepared 1-on-1 trade meeting which can strengthen the relationship between visitors and exhibitors. During the four days exhibition, Taiwan Pavilion is going to hold a special campaign and invite every visitor to join with us. It expected to attract 5,000 visitors and generate more than $ 20 million at the event.”
Yorkers is implementing to hold a brand new exhibition “Myanmar logistic, warehousing and transportation exhibition” in May 2017.
