Opening event of French dry cleaning, laundry and textile care service company 5àsec was held at the Chatrium Hotel on October 7. Prior to the official opening event, a ribbon-cutting ceremony and store tour were conducted at the flagship store, which is located on Inya Road.
Both events were attended by H.E. Olivier Richard, Ambassador of France to Myanmar; Hubert Colaris, Economic Counsellor of France; Sarah Lubeigt, Commercial Attaché of French Trade Commission; Nicolas Boucault, President of Group 5àsec and CEO of DCI based in Geneva and Marco Antonio Garcia Baile, International & Franchise Managing Director of DCI based in Madrid.
“Myanmar has been known worldwide for many years for the beauty of its landscape and immense cultural wealth, epitomized by Shwedagon Pagoda and Bagan. More recently the world has been attracted by its opening economy, making it today one of the most promising markets in Asia. Major multinationals have or are under the process of setting up in Yangon. So is 5àsec,” said Nicolas Boucault.
5àsec with over 1800 stores in 34 countries on six continents, launched its first store in Yangon in August 2016 and looks forward to serving the dry cleaning, laundry and textile care needs of Yangon and the rest of Myanmar.
