Volvo Cars Reveals 2018 XC60 Premium SUV

The unveiling ceremony of 2018 XC60 was done at a press conference at Lotte Hotel in Yangon and invited media attended the event.

The new XC60 offers Volvo’s awardwinning petrol-powered T5 engine, delivering 254 hp. But it is not just under the bonnet that the new XC60 delivers healthy performance. The new Clean Zone four-zone climate control system removes harmful pollutants and particles from outside the cabin to deliver Scandinavian-fresh air on the inside.

Loaded with advanced technology, steer Assist has been added to the ground-breaking City Safety system. A new safety system called Oncoming Lane Mitigation uses Steer Assist to help mitigate head-on collisions, while Volvo’s Blind Spot Information System (BLIS) now uses Steer Assist functionality to reduce the risk of lanechanging collisions.

Temmy Wiradjaja, General Manager of Volvo Cars Myanmar said “We are pleased to unveil the all-new 2018 XC60 Premium SUV for Myanmar Consumers, or as well call it a Technological Marvel. The new XC60 is no exception as it is a perfect car for Myanmar Consumers to made part of their daily activities, both Business and Personal. It represents the next step in our transformation plan.”

The story of Volvo in Myanmar began with the opening of the Volvo Center in Yangon by Performance Auto International.
