An online real estate portal as well as a real estate event company, ShweProperty.com will hold one of its biggest ever expos in partnership with the Myanmar Property Awards and International Partner Property Guru from June 30 to July 2 at Tatmadaw Hall, Yangon.
The property expo, aimed at buyers as well as sellers, can achieve all their property needs at one place at one time, it is reported. ShweProperty has seen new demographics for real estate developers, which is first time home buyers. The first time buyers are becoming the most attractive demographic for real estate developers, especially as the company salary wages increase, more international companies arrive and the emergence of the middle class becomes more prevalent.
Kevin Goos, Managing Director of ShweProperty.com, said, “the focus of ShweProperty expo will be to target first time home buyers who are in the market to buy a home they will love at a price they can afford. A majority of most prominent real estate developers are making this pivot and targeting first time home buyers. Those who have already joined are Yoma Strategic, Naing Group and about 30 more developers who have signed up this week.” Last month, Shwe Taung announced a partnership with AYA bank providing condo buyers up to 70 per cent financing over a 15 year period, which allows access to a larger demographic of potential buyers.
