I n September, Samsung offcially launched its Gear S2 smart watch around the world. The watch was also launched in Myanmar in November. Samsung Gear S2 has rounded design and UX screen, a rotating bezel, along with the Home and Back buttons can get experience with a quick, precise method to comfortably access notifcations and applications.
At a mere 11.4-millimeter thin with a 1.2 inches circular screen, the Samsung Gear S2 brings a light and compact design to wrist. The Gear S2 comes in two versions: Gear S2 and the Gear S2 classic. The classic looks like a more traditional watch with a leather band and black fnish, while the S2 is more modern and will be available with a dark gray case and band or a silver case and white band.
The user can connect with at-a-glance notifcations to check calendar, e-mails, news and can even send important texts directly from the wrist. The user can set customized reply setting when the user is unavailable without having to touch compatible smart phone. Nevertheless, functions on the Samsung Gear S2 will encourage the user to stay healthy and active. And 24-hour activity log lets the user to view daily activity progress and patterns at a glance. It will also send reminder updates to motivate the user to stay on track with ftness goals, including heart rate.
It is also added an IP68 certifed dust- and water-resistant rating that gives the user all the convenience in the active lifestyle. Resistant against water ingress to a maximum of 3 meters (for up to 30 minutes) and complete dust ingress there will be nothing to stop the user.
The S2 supports Wi-Fi and Bluetooth without connecting with 3G and the user does not need to be near the smart phone. Samsung also pointed to the frst-ever e-SIM with voice capability. The S2 supports Near Field Communication (NFC) for mobile payments, but Samsung also wants to expand its use to things like smart car keys, residential room keys, and remote controls to manage a connected home. For charging, it can simply be placed on the wireless charging dock right out of the box.
