Myanmar Build and Décor 2018

The 5th Edition of Myanmar Build and Décor 2018 is scheduled on October 4 to 6 at Myanmar Event Park at Mindama. The construction industry in Myanmar expects 10.37 percent annual growth rate from the year 2016-2020.

The industry is anticipated to be valued at $13.5 billion in 2020. For this year, the exhibition features international exhibitors form eight countries such as Japan, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Taiwan, Korea, China and Vietnam along with local exhibitors. “The exhibition will be the best place to source various materials directly with major manufacturers and distributors from local and international exhibitors. We also hope to be an industry platform for networking and educational and knowledge sharing, “said Chinakit Viphavakit, General Manager of ICVeX Company. The exhibition is supported by Union of Myanmar Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry (UMFCCI) and Myanmar Engineering Society (MES).

Another key highlight of the exhibition is the seminar which has been developed by local industry experts from leading construction associations in Myanmar such as Myanmar A.G.T.I., Association of Myanmar Architects (AMA), Federation of Myanmar Constructions Entrepreneurs Association (MCEA). Among topics discussed include Yangon City Urban Planning, Architecture for People, Green Architecture, Bagan Inventory Result, and Building Permission and Guidelines.

Myanmar Build and Décor exhibition has been successfully held every year since 2014. The 4th edition of Myanmar Build and Décor was held during September 28 to 30, 2017 with 5,119 industry visitors visited and welcomed over 5,000 visitors, 90 percent of them local and ten percent of international visitors from China, France, India, Indonesia, Japan, Italy, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, UAE, USA and Vietnam.
