Myanmar National Airlines (MNA) is planning to resume suspended flights to Lashio as soon as possible. MNA currently operates domes-tic flights connecting Yangon and Mandalay to 26 towns across Myan-mar. Currently, destinations such as Loikaw (Kayar State), Bhamo (Sagaing/Kachin border), Lashio (Shan North), Thandwe and Ann (Rakhine State) are on hold.
“Earlier, MNA ran flights from Mag-way to Ann-Thandwe destinations. Currently, flights to Loikaw, Bhamo, An, Thandwe and Lashio are tem-porarily stopped. MNA will soon restart flights to Lashio,” said Myo Thura, Chief Commercial Officer of MNA. MNA has been implementing comprehensive safety measures to ensure security for passengers be-fore resuming the suspended routes.
