Mercedes – Benz Myanmar launched affordable Luxury SUV, a crossover. The latest launch model, GLA 180 sits on the same platform as the A Class and is the combination of a sedan/hatchback and a sporty SUV. This means handling on this car matches the feel and driving characteristic of a sedan/hatchback but also offers the practicality, space and higher ground clearance of a SUV. Its higher ground clearance takes on any rough and uneven surfaces. Also, the dampers, which are tuned to comfort settings, will ensure every nook on the roads will be absorbed accordingly to provide the highest amount of comfort for passengers. A 1.6-liter turbocharged engine powers it, this car produces 120horsepower and a 200Nm of torque to propel it to a healthy 100km/h effortlessly. Being a 1.6-liter, the fuel consumption rate is low. The boot space of the car is 481 liters wide and more 140 liters wide than A-Class. The user can also adjust the rear seats to a steeper position to increase the load capacity in boot space. Another launched model, GLA 45 is another sports model to add to the excitement in the form of an AMG. Dubbed the Mercedes-AMG GLA 45, this sports model will satisfy the performance beast in you while providing the everyday practicality that one seeks. The GLA 45 has a 2.0-liter twin turbo engine, carried over from the A 45 AMG. Rated at 355 horsepower and an insane 400 Nm of torque, it will propel the user to 100km/h in 4.8 seconds. Both of the latest launch models are available at Mercedes-Benz showroom on Pyay Road, 7 ½ mile. The GLA 180 costs USD 81,888 and GLA 45 AMG costs USD 148,888.
