Myanmar Airways International (MAI) has extended the RGN – SIN – RGN route from July 16. This extension is in response to the growing number of Singaporean visitors to Myanmar. Previously, the flights operated six days a week. Now, MAI enlisted Sunday on the new flight schedule.
Departure from Yangon International Airport is at 08.20 and arrival in Singapore is 12.50. The return flight departs at 13:50 and arrives back in Yangon at 15:20. According to the Ministry of Hotels and Tourism, Myanmar has admitted visits of over 400,000 tourists from January to May 2023, most of whom came from or via Singapore.
