INTERMACH & SUBCON MYANMAR Featured Affordable Technology and Tooling Equipment

The fourth edition of INTERMACH & SUBCON MYANMAR was held this year at Tatmadaw Exhibition Hall from October 20 to 22. The event was organized by UBM Asia (Thailand) Co., Ltd and Myanmar Industries Association (MIA). The show was officially being opened by Zaw Min Win, Chairman of Myanmar Industries Association and M. Gandhi, Managing Director (ASEAN Business) of UBM Asia.

INTERMACH MYANMAR 2016 featured affordable technology and tooling equipment that is essential to maintain and raise Myanmar’s industrial capabilities. SUBCON MYANMAR 2016 provided a major opportunity for successful business linkage with manufacturers and subcontractors in Automotive, Electronic, Construction, Mold and Die industries. The first Business Matchmaking Program at SUBCON MYANMAR helped local entrepreneurs establish partnerships with Thai part-makers who are looking to subcontract sections of their industrial operations with similarly inclined companies.

“We are glad to support UBM ASIA (Thailand) once again by promoting the show to our members who will benefit from the many Seminars and Business Matchmaking events that will link them to exhibitors and local manufacturers. We have been helping organize Business Matchmaking activities in conjunction with many local entrepreneurs,” said Zaw Min Win.

The event featured more than 200 brands from 22 countries and there were over 500 pieces of machinery on display. Some of the equipment were being launched for the first time in Myanmar. The 2016 event also featured more than 35 industrial part-makers from Thailand, many of whom were looking to link with Myanmar businesses and establish profitable partnerships,” said Gandhi.
