A Memorandum of Understanding was signed by Intel Corporation and the Myanmar Ministry of Edu- cation in 2014, allowing the opportunity for Intel to work closely with the Ministry to improve the education system through teacher development training on 21st century class- room methodologies.
The two organizations have completed 2 batches of Master Teacher Trainings from August to November 2014, for 80 teachers across Myanmar. In 1st batch training, Intel invited Myanmar Ministry of Education offi- cials, Yankin Education College officials, and Intel executives to attend the closing cere- mony, giving out certificates and launched the program. For 2nd batch, Myanmar Min- istry of Education again used Yankin Educa- tion College as the training venue.
Intel Teach is part of Intel’s $100 million annual investment towards improving the quality of education around the world.
