It is expected that Eurowindow will complete the project in the second  quarter of 2018. This is a good signal and the initial success of Eurowindow in Myanmar.

“The establishment of the representative office is a solid first step in Eurowindow’s strategic activities and long term commitment in Myanmar.” said Nguyen Canh Hong, CEO of Eurowindow at the launch of the office. “We see a huge demand for doors and façade products  in the market while the supply of quality products here is still limited. We plan to build a factory in Myanmar in 2019 to be able to meet the market demand, increase speed and reduce costs for our customers. We believe that not only will Eurowindow products enhance the quality of life for Myanmar’s people, but they will also take part in transforming the appearance of the urban architecture in this beautiful country.”

On his three-day trip to Myanmar, Hong has been working with a number of representatives from the MCEA and Ministry of Industry. At the seminar, the media and guests heard about Eurowindow’s experience on product development and its achievements over the past 15 years and why Eurowindow products have been widely used in tens of thousands of buildings. Eurowindow also presented its strategy to improve Myanmar people’s urban environment and how it will help modernise the country’s infrastructure.

Attending as the special guest, Vo Thi Ngoc Diep, Trade Counsellor at the Vietnamese Embassy said “We highly appreciate that Eurowindow, Vietnam’s leading integrated solution provider for doors, has decided to expand to Myanmar at a time when Myanmar’s construction industry is growing at an average of 30 % per year. Through over 15 years of development, Eurowindow has transformed the look and durability of doors and changed the habits of Vietnamese people.

I believe that with the prestige of the brand and the quality of products, which have been trusted by customers in Vietnam and in many other countries around the world, Eurowindow will improve the quality of life for people here just like it has done for Vietnamese people.” Eurowindow’s goal is not only to maintain its position as the leading solution provider in Vietnam but also to expand the market and transfer technology to other countries in the region such as Laos and Cambodia and to continue to export to many countries in the world. In the first year of operation in Myanmar, the company will focus on developing the market by working closely with developers, contractors, architects and design consultants to deliver optimal material solutions for existing construction sites, as well as going-to-be-built buildings in Myanmar and to build a factory to meet market demand from 2019.

Founded in 2002, Eurowindow is Vietnam’s leading integrated solution provider for doors and façades. With its headquarters in Hanoi, Eurowindow employs over 4,000 staff.
