DWG, a Singaporean Real Estate Investment Company, has announced that it will be opening up a branch office in Myanmar as part of an ambitious expansion plan. The branch, which will be located in Yangon, will focus on providing improved and efficient support and services to agents in Myanmar working with DWG. This move is particularly important to help its partner agents service the increasing demand of investment properties among Myanmar people. In the first quarter of this year alone, DWG has invested in 2 Billion Thai Baht (THB) into Bangkok property alone. This, compared to the 5 Billion THB the company invested in 2017, reflects the increasing demand of investors not only in Myanmar, but also in other countries where DWG’s investments are marketed.
DWG held a property exhibition in Sedona Hotel, Yangon on May 19 and 20 together with one of the leading real estate agency called Your Property Finder Co., Ltd (YPF). This is the 4th exhibition DWG has held in Myanmar together with YPF, and will focus on the Maru line of developments. Maru is developed by Major Development PCL, a company listed on the Stock Exchange of Thailand, and one of the main developers DWG has invested in.
