British University College Set Up in Myanmar

British University College was established in Myanmar on November 2017 under the supervision of Professor Tim Boatswain who served as a provice chancellor of universities in UK. It is one of the institutes under the organization, which has encouraged over 100,000 students in Singapore, Vietnam and China for over 30 years and currently over 6,000 students are attending now.

Students can join British University College in Myanmar to graduate directly from UK universities. Bachelor degrees that can be obtained in British University College, from UK universities are BA (Hons) in Business Management, BSc (Hons) in Construction Management, BE (Hons) in Electrical & Electronic Engineering and BE (Hons) in Civil Engineering. Students who completed International Foundation Programme in British University College have chances to study in UK, Australia, Singapore, USA and Switzerland. They can join directly to first year of any bachelor except medicine, nursing and law without the need to attend foundation year there. Anyone who passed matriculation examination or GCE O level can join International Foundation Programme which consists of total five subjects: English for Academic Purpose, IT skill and applications, Mathematics, Applied Science and International Business. On completion of this program, the student would be fluent in academic English four skills, presentation skills, research, Harvard Referencing, citation and assignment of 2,ooo words. This program is equivalent to IELTS Band Score 6.0. This program prepares a good foundation to students’ further higher level studies.
