Yoma Strategic Holdings Ltd. (the “Yoma Strategic”, together with its subsidiaries, the “Group”) and Education Index Management (“EIM”) signed for definitive legal agreements to design, build and operate a premium international school within the Group’s Thanlyin Star City (“Star City”) development area. Brit- ish College Yangon is currently planned to open for the 2016/2017 academic year and will provide a British curriculum enhanced for Myanmar and foreign students from 2 to 18 years of age. The Group will develop the school buildings and facilities, which will be leased to the school. Academic and op- erational management of the school will be administrated by EIM’s subsidiary Dulwich College International (“DCI”) with Dulwich College in London supporting as education- al adviser. The campus will be located on 8.3 hectares of land within Star City. The total development cost for the internation- al school (excluding the cost of the land development rights) is expected to be ap- proximately US$40 million on completion, subject to finalization of design and quantity surveys. The campus facilities will be made available to Star City’s residents during out- of-school hours.
