Black Hat Wine Bar & Burmese Tapas Restaurant is the perfect refuge for those looking for a break from the hustle and bustle of modern Yangon. Black Hat is the first ever Burmese tapas in Myanmar. Its menu is a fusion of Myanmar and European food. Currently, the best-selling main courses are dried smooth fish and rice chicken. When it comes to the appetizers, the best-selling items are fried potatoes, mutton balls and grilled pork ribs. Black Hat also features a wide variety of wine, but the most popular is “Mr. Mick.” It’s only 6,000 mmk per glass. With their weekday lunch specials, an appetizer, main course, dessert and coffee will cost only $20 per person from 11:00 am- 3:00 pm. And be sure not to miss the “Sunday Brunch” buffet style menu, costing only $10 per person.
