Leading Myanmar bank AYA Bank and Leeds United have announced AYA Bank Tour 2018, featuring two friendly matches between Leeds United and the Myanmar National League (MNL) All-Stars, and the Myanmar National Team on April 24. The matches will be broadcast locally in Myanmar on MRTV 4 and globally via the LUTV App (Leads United TV).
In addition to the matches, the Leeds United will also run football clinics with the Myanmar Football Federation Academies in Yangon and Mandalay. They have ambitious goals for grassroots and elite football development that we are delighted to be able to support. This tour gives us an opportunity to meet new fans of football who will hopefully support our journey back to the Premier League in the coming years. From a football perspective we welcome the opportunity for our players who have not featured much in the past six months due to injuries the chance to continue their rehabilitation. The squad are very excited for the chance to represent the Club in Asia. We will be streaming the match on our LUTV (Leeds United TV) App and are also looking to broadcast it on our other platforms.
