AirAsia Shows Support for Thailand Shopping Paradise

Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) team up with AirAsia to promote travelling in Thailand by offering special discount of ticket price and others. In Thailand Shopping paradise Campaign, major department stores and their partner including Asiastique, CNP Group, King Power, Siam Paragon, Divana Spa and CIMB are also participated as partners. This event was held on 13-14 June. Special AirAsia ticket fares form Yangon and Mandalay to Bangkok, starting from 27USD per one way including airport tax and fees, were also announced at this event. For the tickets booked during 13-14 June, one can travel with special price of ticket from 16 June to 30 September. “The cooperation between TAT and AirAsia as well as leading department stores and other partners will result in a high value travel and shopping experience in Thailand. By partnering up with a “Truly Asean” airline, leading department stores and other partners, foreign visitors will be able to enjoy attractive airfares, promotions and privileges” said Ms. Lalida Tongsirikul, Director of Tourism Products and Business Group, Tourism Authority of Thailand. According to Ms. Pornpun Ratanapitakkul,Indochina Marketing Manager,”Apart form offering low airfares to Bangkok, AirAsia has also partnered up with Asiatique, Central Department stores, King Power, Siam Paragon, Divana Spa and CIMB in order to add value to our boarding passes, which can be use for special discounts and privileges at these establishments”. In this event, AirAsia also give suggestion to favorable tourist destinations for people who want to travel in Thailand.
