On January 6, the signing ceremony of Asia Green Development Bank (AGD) and Infosys Company was held to start the use of Core Banking Finacle of Infosys technology. Htoo Htet Tayza, Managing Director of AGD and Venkatesh S.G, Head of Infosys Asia Pacific Region signed the agreement
Myo Win Thein, Deputy General Manager of AGD bank’s ICT Department said, “The use of Infosys technology in AGD banking system will fulfill the needs of domestic services and can connect conveniently with international banking system in future. Currently, the bank is running its operations with the AGD Signed Up Infosys for Core Banking use of local system that can provide all information and data to all branches. This new system can keep all data and information in one place as a Data Center”.
He also added, “As the result of using this Infosys technology, the bank can run more efficiently. Headquarter can download Management Reports anytime. Customers can easily access online banking system and mobile banking system with faster speed and safer access.
Venkatesh S.G, Head of Asia Pacific Region said, “Infosys has already sold this core banking system to more than 500 banks over 50 countries around the world”.
